MSc thesis project proposal

High speed and secure NoC adaptive routing strategies

We are investigating NoC architectures which are capable of adaptive routing (run-time configurable). We already have prototypes of such a NoC; New strategies are needed to optimize these prototypes and make it applicable for use in a multi-FPGA environment, which has a very high demand in terms of speed, security and adaptability.

Keywords: Multi-FPGA design; high speed and secure communication, hardware architecture, dataflow, NoC, VHDL, SystemC, serdes, compression, coding
